It is March 2010 and I am finally starting my planning for our May to September trip to Alaska. Carl has been doing his planning for over a year. Took me a bit longer to "catch the bug". I have been researching routes and camping options for several weeks and today am setting up our blog for all to follow our adventure. I have several books, magazines and maps in front of me. The websites I have found from others who have gone before us have many amazing photos, notes, and tips. We have talked to so many people who have gone to Alaska that our head is spinning with places and sites to see (thank you all for your tips, suggestions and photos). We have acquired our water proof hiking boots, new GPS system, new computer, tour saver coupon book, passports and our "Milepost guide" . Yet to get: air ride hitch, generator, telephoto camera, dog shot updates, all weather vests, etc.
This is truly going to be
